About this site
Delivered Dose is run by Dan, a registered nurse who trains and uses supplements, and wanted one place that shows the cheapest properly certified option without the marketing. That is the whole idea. It is not medical advice, and nothing here is part of anyone's nursing practice.
Why the nursing background shows
Mostly in how strict the sourcing is. Every price, certification and label reading on this site names its source, and links to it where the source is public; where a label reading rests on a document with no public address, the record says so rather than offering a link that goes nowhere. Certifications are checked against the certifier's own database, not the badge on the bottle. Where a certifier names packages, a certification counts only when its listing names the exact package sold. Where a certifier tests batch by batch and names no package at all, the listing is recorded as covering the product and never as covering a package. Where a label does not state something, the site says Unknown rather than guessing. Where Dan has read a source himself, the source says so.
The methodology is public: how we compare. The opinion pieces are kept on their own route, marked as opinion, so that the computed tables never carry an argument inside them: Notes.
How the data is checked
Dan sets the rules, decides what is published, and has personally opened the sources marked “verified by Dan”. Labels and certifier listings are read at the source, and every figure names the record it came from.
The rules are enforced in the code rather than left to memory. Where a certifier names packages, a certification cannot publish as confirmed unless its listing has been opened and its own package text written down beside the listing number, so you can hold the two side by side. A batch certifier prints no package text, so those listings are recorded as covering the product instead. Dan reads every listing whose text does not match the label, and a sample each month. The ranking cannot see affiliate data at all.
The site's whole claim is that you should not have to trust us. Every number links to where it came from, so you can check it yourself.
What this site is not
It does not tell you what to take, how much, or whether a supplement is right for you. Comparison doses are yardsticks for price, not recommendations. If you take medication, are pregnant, or have a condition, talk to your own clinician before starting anything; a price table cannot know your situation, and this one does not try to.
How it is paid for
Affiliate commission on some purchase links. Each link that earns us something says so, on the link itself; the rest are plain retailer links. Commission never affects what is listed, how it ranks, or which retailer the Buy button points at. That rule is enforced in the code, not just promised: the ranking functions cannot see affiliate data.
Who is behind it
Delivered Dose LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, run by Dan, who does not publish a surname; the company is the accountable party, and the corrections page is how to reach it about anything wrong. Corrections are the point of publishing this early.
