Notes
Everything else on this site computes its answer from data, and cannot tell you whether something is worth buying. A judgment is not a mechanical consequence of a price table.
Some judgments are still worth writing down. They live here, on their own route, labeled as opinion. The separation is deliberate: if you distrust the argument you can still trust the tables, which would not be true if the two were mixed.
It costs many times more per unit of magnesium than glycinate. Roughly 7% of the compound is magnesium, and the trial everyone cites compared it against rice flour rather than against cheaper magnesium.
K2 really does activate the proteins it is sold on. Trials that measured bone loss and calcification mostly found no benefit, including a two-year trial of K2 plus vitamin D in 365 men.
